April Love Note: Let It Bloom From Within
There was a moment during my recent Spirit Messages event at Shine Yoga Studio in Cincinnati that stayed with me. I’ve been doing these Spirit Message nights as public demonstrations of mediumship — people receive messages from loved ones who have passed. It opens something special in the room every time.
For me, personally, what I find even more powerful is what happens afterwards. I get to hear people’s personal stories — it just bursts my heart wide open!
Of course, people share what it meant to them to hear from their loved one — often someone they weren’t thinking they would hear from. They share the backstory, the giggles, the family dynamics — they spill the tea.
And they also share what they experienced just being in the room filled with loved ones in Spirit. Seeing auras. Feeling energy. Hearing guidance. And almost every time, they say the same thing: “I lost it.”

A Moment That Stayed With Me
On this particular evening, a woman came up to me afterward and said, “I could see your energy. It would get big, then small, then expand again. And there was purple pouring out from your crown.” She started to tear up. Not because it was new, but because it wasn’t. She continued, “I used to see that all the time when I was younger, but I haven’t for a very long time.”
I hear this so often. People fear they’ve lost their ability to see or feel energy — or that they haven’t taken care of their gift, so it just went away.
But this beautiful soul didn’t lose her abilities. And neither have you.

This Is Not Lost — It’s Waiting
When you were younger, you had time to just hang out and observe the world. You weren’t managing everything or responsible for everyone. Your openness — your ability to perceive the unseen world — didn’t disappear. It’s still in you.
People tell themselves stories like:
I’m too old.
I missed my chance.
That was just childhood — maybe it wasn’t even real.
None of that is true.
You can return to that state. You can receive again. You can reconnect with your own way of accessing the unseen.
Do you remember when you felt connected to something you couldn’t explain, but you knew it was real? Maybe you saw something. Maybe you heard something. Maybe you felt protected in a moment that didn’t make sense.
That doesn’t go away. It goes quiet and waits. You had full access to it as a child. If you feel curious about it, that curiosity is your guidance. It’s already calling you back.
Because at the end of the day, ignoring your intuition is a form of self-betrayal. In a world that is loud and constant, it can feel easier and safer to override your own knowledge than to follow it.
Let’s shift that. That’s the work.
And it’s already in you.
