August Love Note: Shaping Your Crystalline Self From Within

Every experience shapes who you are.

Have you ever wondered how crystals are formed? They develop inside rock formations, from the exact same building blocks. Temperature, pressure, and chemical components create unique engagement to determine the crystal’s inner state and final shape. The growth is complete when the crystal runs out of space.

So I ask, what outside forces have uniquely shaped your current inner growth and outer form? And are you creating space for each moment of pressure to transmute into a crystal? That’s how you keep your innate and powerful essence from hardening into a piece of rubble. You can shape and grow the crystal within. Here’s how:

Looking at the last column first — revisit a few of your past challenges. Remember how you stressed about it then, and now it seems so small. How did your gifts from the middle column guide you through to the other side of that challenge? Feel back into those spaces and give yourself a big smile. Way to go, right?!

It’s hard to see when you’re in the thick of it, but your intuition and willingness to listen to it have always been your guiding compass. When you visit the first column of current or activated challenges, keep the center column of your gifts as your foundation. Your touchstone. The center of your being. Own it.

Now look at your current circumstances. With the same awareness you brought when reflecting on past challenges, ask: how can I apply the tools I used then to this moment? Remember, your gifts and sacred tools will guide you and provide the necessary space for the crystal to grow and radiate from within.

As you re-emerge back into life post Mercury retrograde (Mercury stationed direct on July 23, and clears its shadow by August 8th), systems and schedules may begin to fall into a familiar and energetically gentler pace, but that doesn’t mean it’s going to be easy-breezy from here. Life just doesn’t work that way.

Each season requires pivoting. Your emotions certainly took a hit in July, with Cancer season, the cardinal water sign, in full force. Now it’s time to take time to breathe, center, reset, and refocus before the next round of earthly shenanigans begins as the Leo Sun shines brightly, encouraging you to Rule Your World by embracing your authentic creativity—and squeezing every ounce of joy and playfulness out of summer.
